Outreach

The Outreach Committee’s mission is to reach out to people in our congregation and neighborhood by praying for them, helping with physical needs (food, emergencies, etc.), and by building the body through fellowship. Some of our outreaches include the Easter Breakfast, a summer cookout/picnic, Trunk or Treat, help with Thanksgiving needs, and Christmas for the elderly in a nursing home.

The Outreach Committee would welcome your helping hands. Is there an outreach that you would like to see happen in our church or community that you would be willing to help implement? We’d love to have your input and presence!

Angel Food Ministries - With a heart to help others and a generous spirit, Joe and Linda Wingo founded Angel Food Ministries in 1994 to provide food for friends and neighbors who were struggling financially. Today, they are still doing the same thing. The Angel Food program now is helping provide food relief to more than 500,000 families each month.
